We started off without you a couple months before you were with us for about a week and you wanted to go on tour we weren't ready for that ride we weren't ready for a gig we were something small you tried so hard to make us big I admit we sounded better after you came in but we had to get rid of your busted amps and brokens strings You helped us find a form a sound one that we all liked we couldn't have done it without you then you wanted to change our style we used to get along as friends and musically but we had to ditch you it wasn't working out for you or me I admit we sounded better after you came in but we had to get rid of your busted amps and brokens strings Now that you're gone we're playing decent shows and songs which ditched you for the show the one you made possible we sound so much better since you've been gone so i just want to say thanks and so long

I'd hate to say goodbye right now and see you walk away it'll get harder to say goodbye the longer that we wait i guess we missed our window i guess it is too late but you don't notice that window till it's shattered in your face The window broken in our faces isn't made of glass it's the shards of truth, dishonesty and the reallity we couldn't grasp Our faces covered in tears and blood the scars may never heal in comes the silence and you know how that makes me feel It's so hard to go on without you these past couple days all i've got to remember is half eaten chocolate, the smell of glaze you promised i'd never lose you no matter what happened said you had to break it and just stay away. STAY AWAY The window broken in our faces isn't made of glass it's the shards of truth and dishonesty a refelction of the past Our faces covered in broken glass the scars may never heal in comes the silence and you know how that makes me feel
